Level 2: What It Takes

This post is primarily for my own reference, but I am thinking one day, it may prove helpful to someone else as well. I am going to be seeking Level 2 certifications. To get started, you go to www.teachercenter.withgoogle.com and sign in/create an account. Then, select the level of certification you would like to begin with.

Level 1would primarily be for someone who is newer to using Google Suite products such as Google Classroom, Google Calendar, etc... There is so much to learn!

Level 2 is for someone who is familiar with many common features and is comfortable using them in the classroom. However, I personally, have not previously used the Blogger feature, YouTube, Coding, and Google Hosted Websites and would love to begin learning how to incorporate those into my classroom with fidelity.

This is my primary link to the training videos and exercises I need to complete. The teacher training center is so complex and rich with many resources that I find it difficult to remember where I left off. In order to help myself get through the Level 2 process, I am posting a checklist below. I'm also taking many deep breaths to keep myself calm and avoid the overwhelming urge to quit and run.

Here is my checklist:

____ Unit 1: Promote and Model the Effective Use of Digital Tools

____ Unit 2: Leverage Learning Models to Personalize Learning

____ Unit 3: Use Advanced Features to Optimize Workflow

____ Unit 4: Analyze and Interpret Student Data

____ Unit 5: Organize Your Class and School Materials More Effectively

____ Unit 6: Design Interactive Curricula

____ Unit 7: Teach Beyond the Four Walls of Your Classroom

____ Unit 8: Harness the Power of Google for Research

____ Unit 9: Give Students A Voice

____ Unit 10: Student Agency

Wish me luck. -Fajitadita
